Assignment 12 Obstacle

You have used the sensors in front of the robot to see a black line, and to stop when the robot sees it.

Now you will use the ultrasonic sensor in front of the robot to see obstacles, and avoid them.

Assignment 12:

Choose ONE of the following:

a) Open the maze world, using a seed number. Program your robot to reach at least the next corner of the maze using only sensors to guid it. You may use numbers for the turns, but may use no rotations or time to stop the robot when going straight.

Save it to a folder on your computer as mazeSeed#Yourname.

b) Open the Sumo Challenges world with Random Dummies.

Program your robot to turn until it sees an obstacle, try to push that obstacle off the world
without falling off itself, then try to find and remove more obstacles.

Save it to a folder on your computer as sumoYourname.

  • Go to Google Drive
  • Open the Class Program folder in 'Shared with me'
  • Open your class folder and assignment folder
  • Click on the "New" button on the top left
  • Upload the program from your computer
