Open the Scale for Principles of Programming. Read it carefully, and decide what number applies to you today.

Open the Scale Chart for Principles of Programming, (which should be in your personal folder as scalechartprogramming.doc) add your name and today's date,
and pull the first happy face down to today's number. (If you can't find it, there is a new one here.)

Take the highlights away from all the things that you have learnedlearn. Save to your personal folder.

Watch this video of an obstacle avoiding robot, using both ultrasonic and touch sensors.
The touch sensors stop the robot when the ultrasonic doesn't see an obstacle.
the light sensor is used only to shine a different colored light depending on the distance
from an obstacle, it isn't being used as a sensor.

Watch this robot using three light sensors to follow a line.

Come to the front of the room.

I will show you how we will do the vocab in future.

Then we will go over what you have to do today:

1 - as a team, write a program to make the robot start when it hears a sound, and stop when it hears a second sound.
Remember that you don’t know when the sound will happen, so there should not be any rotations in your blocks. Turn it in to

Shared - Student - Pereira - LEGO - Class Color - Sound Review with all your names on it.

2 - As a team, add a loop to this program so that the robot keeps on starting and stopping when it hears a sound,
and you don’t need to press ‘run’ in between.Turn it in to
