In Yangshuo county, near Guilin City in the province of Guangxi ()is one of the most famous scenic spots in China. The 70,000-karst pillars of tropical limestone scattered along the Li Jiang River are a popular tourist attraction.70 meter-high karst mountains carved by erosion over the years. Several of these are: Elephant Trunk Hill, Piled Festoon Hill, Reed Flute Cave, Seven Star Cave, Solitary Beauty Peak, and Wave Subduing Hill

 

 

The six types of lizards , four kinds of snakes and three amphibian species live in two distinct microhabitats:                                hilltops and hillsides.
