Learning Goal: Understand how to write a program to control a robot.

Daily Objective - how to build and program with the medium Motor.

Step 1

Build an attachment using the Medium Motor.

You may do the EV3 Gripper or the EV3 Lifter - click on the links for building instructions.

 

Step 2

Watch this video to see how to program the Medium Motor.

Assignment 8:

Program your robot to move forward to the color cube. It should pick up or trap the color cube,
take it back to the Start position, and release the color cube.

If you are using a Grabber, put the color cube on the roll of tape so the grabber can reach it.

If you built the cage, put it on upside down so the cage can trap the color cube and drag it back.

Make sure that the program works. Make sure it is annotated. Save it as MediumYourname.

To turn it in

  • Go to Google Drive or watch this video:
  • Open the Class Programs LEGO folder in 'Shared with me'
  • Open your class folder and assignment folder
  • Click on the "New" button on the top left
  • Upload the program from your computer as Mediumyourname.
