Lesson 3:

Learning Goal: Design a program

We will do this as a class - do NOT start this by yourself.

Part 1

Starting activity:

Spend 10 minutes playing with Turtle Draw.

Wait for instructions.

 

Read the instructions, then design a 'program' for your partner by moving the arrow symbols into the workspace.

Change seats with your neighbour, add your name to the sheet, and try to draw the pattern on the grid.

 

 

Part 2

We will watch this video about the need for computational thinking.

We are going to do a Nearpod about Computational Thinking together.
