Overview

This webquest contains three assignments.

Students taking this course for the first time:

You may work in groups of 2 or 3.

In Assignment 1, you will tell me what you already know or believe about robots (an individual assignment).

In Assignment 2, as a team, you will clarify your understanding of what robots are, discover some background about robots, and do some research on how robots are used today.

Finally, in Assignment 3, your team will find out more about a specific area where robots are used. Each group will study one aspect of robotics, and will teach others in the class about that field. Then, you will predict future developments in the light of what you have learned.

Students taking this course for the second time :

In Assignment 1, you will tell me what you already know or believe about robots.

In Assignment 2, you will research telepresence robots as a team.

Finally, in Assignment 3, your team will find out more about a specific area where robots are used. Each group will study one aspect of robotics, and will teach others in the class about that field. Then, you will predict future developments in the light of what you have learned.
